The studio’s early work in Snaresbrook, East London, has been filmed by Channel 4 for airing later this year.
In light of the prior removal of period detailing, the project displays the reinterpretation of traditional Victorian domestic features such as wainscotting, dado and picture rails and reframes these into a single, visually-continuous, machine-cut timber ribbon that wraps the upper level and extends to form the CTA self-designed and built stair.
The project will air in September.
